We might as well get something similar to Valve Time, except for Chucklefish.
Even if 1.0 is released and is actually good, Starbound does not have a chance to become as succesful as Terraria anymore. Not without some kind of divine intervention.
They dropped the ball. They had their chance when Terraria died, but did not utilize this chance properly.
I don't care if they suddenly left the Dark Side and realized their mistakes. This is an industry, not some kind of TV show wherw game developers apologize for their sins.
If it's an industry then they are pretty fucking successful if they can consistently under-deliver and still have people throw money at and even defend them.
The bottom line is devs don't owe anything to you other than what they've already given you.
