I'd play with you but there's still the issue of not having a server. (And before anyone even thinks of saying anything, my craptop would not be able to run a server!)

ask Marx, I think he still keep one running
Is Marx on right now? If so, I summon thee! Accio, person! Eye of Thundara, give me a forum beyond forums! I ran out of references. I know, I suck. But just remember, one does not simply make a reference. You must think of it first. Or something. IDK. How's this? MARX! GET YO ASS OVA' HERE!

Eh, same here, but for different reasons. Mine's only a few years old (3), so its still pretty good, minus the fact that it needs an external fan and 3 ACs to prevent it from over-heating. A server would put too much stress on mine for a game like Starbound if I was hosting.

Not to... burst your bubble or anything, but it's likely that if the server even still exists I highly doubt it's in anything resembling a useable state at the moment because... well if I recall correctly the last time the server was up it was running the latest Koala build.

Wow. Alright then. That's still a thing, then, I guess. Well, maybe we (as in the Nexus) could do something along the lines of restoring it if enough people care, or at least show they care. It literally brings a tear to my eye to see things like this mod just kinda... I dont know, fade? All that effort and work by the creator, and people just forget about it. I mean, the Avali definitely are far from forgettable, but the old mod isn't really relevant right now, and the Triage one doesnt get as much attention as it deserves. I hope Ryuujin is still working on it, though. It would be a shame if it was just dropped, like so many other mods out there with tons of potential.

I think for all intents and purposes, it is dropped. Ryuu has little to no interest in Starbound anymore.
That said, that doesn't mean Triage can't add things, addons can't be made, etc. As Starbound continues to evolve, I'm sure the Avali as a mod will too.
And, as already stated, many people here really don't care much at all about Starbound any more, and the ones who do care do so in a very negative way for the most part. Unfortunately, I doubt you'll find enough support here to get anything resembling an active server up and running.
Of course, I could be wrong. People here may be getting more interested again... Though if they are, they haven't said much on the subject.

That really does suck. I mean, if I knew how to code and sprite (decently, that is) then I would definately do as much as I could for the mod, but sadly, I know not how to use these essential tools of the trade, and am therefore relegated to the back of the stage as a mere user. All I can do is offer kind words, suggestions, and logs.

Weren't you a lurker for a long time? "Things Alpha Found On The Internet" is a staple of the Avali community!
Only for 2 1/2 of a thread, and even then, I can only handle so much of the Nexus per day. Half the stuff I found on there still make no sense. I need to make a guidebook to the Nexus. Yeah, that's a thing now. Im opening Notepad and am starting that... eventually.

I can code but I don't know what language Starbound uses (asides from JSON), any of the special code associated with it, and I know nothing about JSON. As for spriting...
...If someone thinks I can draw well, they have not met me.

Well, damned if I know the specifics, but according to the website, its coded in C++ and Lua. Apparently, Lua is pretty simple. I am silently screaming for not taking up this one guys offer to teach me basic Lua a few years ago right now.

LUA is great. It's what got me into coding. One of the easiest scripting languages out there far as I can tell, though I never went too far with it, and most of my usage of it was restricted to a game which shall not be named because people tend to hate on it a lot.

Im feeling like being a dick so I'm gonna take a stab in the twilight and call Roblox out as the game in question. Am I right? Do I win a prize?
