Fun concept exercise: What would a Tecarian infantry droid designed to artificially harness magical energies be like?
product:
Immortal specialist droid, based on the venerable Crusader the Immortal is fitted with a pair of external "mana batteries" that offset it's inability generate it's own, although the Immortal often does not demonstrate more control over this mana than a few raw directed energy blasts such as lightning bolts, magic missiles, and fireballs, it is capable of executing a wide range of basic spells, albeit with much greater cost to it's mana reserves than an organic mage would face. quartermasters are instructed to keep a close eye on system integrity of Immortal units, bleed-off from the mana batteries is common and interacts with the unit in unpredictable ways, any units suspected of suffering from mana corruption should be removed from their platforms immediately and subjected to a full psych diagnostic.
Sometimes I like designing things with no place in the canon simply for the hell of it.
Surge says to himself "hey now that literally everything on my drive is fresh and clean I can get skyrim running, better get some mods" so he goes to nexus and gets most of his old mod-load, 5 hours later he says "I'll just grab a few more to make everything look nice and crisp" and loses another 2-3 hours to downloading mods, all the while his firefox is crying out "PLEASE! I BEG OF YOU! SO MANY TABS SHOULD NOT BE OPEN AT ONCE!"
there are entire threads on /r/skyrimmods for enhancing the khajit and argonians past "awkward token races"!
grab on tight firefox more tabs are coming.
There is no fucking way this is gonna start properly without 5 hours of troubleshooting.
