So my NVIDIA drivers are constantly misinterpreting signals from beyond earth causing the game to crash with a DXGI device hung error probably because the drivers are out of date. They're out of date though because NVIDIA decided that Windows 10 doesn't real and made sure none of their installers worked with it.
edit: I decided to poke around the NVIDIA site to see what they say about the lack of a windows 10 driver, and imagine my surprise when they actually have one, they just decided to make it separate, which makes total sense since the regular driver is listed as working with every modern windows OS and several outdated ones. They also decided to not put it on the download page for the other driver "using windows 10? your driver is over here" because why would anyone get confused by this...
