Hey, anyone who plays Skyrim here, can someone help me find a good Player Home mod?
So far I've tried:
What I'm looking for is:
-Good location you can reasonably get to semi-often without using fast travel. Also not a place that's ridiculously cold like on an iceberg in the Sea of Ghosts or something stupid. Preferably somewhat close to a carriage / carriage destination.
-Decor that suits a sarcastic hammer-wielding Redguard whose only knowledge of magic is enchanting and also isn't particularily rich and not at all famous.
-Addendum to above: No f*ckhuge castles or gigantic wide open mansions that would logically never be able to stay heated. No dragon skulls, because seriously how would a house have a Dragon skull if only one is known to exist, in Dragonsreach, and they've only been back for a few weeks. No skulls or other macabe, she isn't a vampire (yet...) and even if turned that wouldn't suddenly make her feel like everything should be decorated in skulls, blood, and guts.
-Not too small either. I want a house not a caravan.
-It must be outside the limits of any ingame settlement. I'm using all of JK's Town mods meaning any house mod I add would probably end up lodged half-way in a tree or something.
-I don't want to have to get involved in a major questline to get it. Not everyone is a thane, why should I need to be in order to get property?
-No vanilla houses. I've had literally every character before who had a house situated in Breezehome, this character doesn't like Markarth or Riften much, and won't be doing the Civil War questlines for some time probably. Oh, and no Hearthfire or other house-building mods. She isn't an architect.
-It should have everything you would want in a player home, i.e. all the things included in the Vanilla homes. Mannequins optional. It should also be at least somewhat unique - no copy&paste designs, I want something that still stands out a little.
It'll be hell when I actually get a real house one day...
