uhhh, isnt that the starbound thing?
They also exist for Fallout: NV, Skyrim, and probably Fallout 3.
Also, I've now seen a bit of Fallout 4 gameplay (just exited the vault, so no real spoilers) and....
Oh... My... God...
The controls are vomit-inducing, the UI is 200% worse than Skyrim's, and about 1000% worse than the previous 2 Fallout games', the voiced protagonist got old after about 3 minutes, and the lack of traits and skills is painfully obvious and quite unpleasant. (Of course, I always preferred Fallout 3 and 4's leveling over Skyrim's)...
The only possible saving throw for me is if the barter menu is like it was in Fallout 3 and NV, with the choose what you want to buy and sell then accept, all from one menu, instead of sell-on-click and buy-on-click, switching between menus, of Skyrim...
Let us hope Obsidian gets a chance at this engine like they did with Fallout 3, but with more time and hopefully the attitude to fix all these horrible changes... It's barely recognizable compared to Bethesda's last few Fallout/Elder Scrolls games, and that is not a good thing.
