In other news, Fallout 4 works swimmingly on my Desktop, although I'm using the 512 Wasteland mod and every other texture optimizer out there combined short of Ultra Low Graphics... Some of these textures look like they're waaaay too low res though. May try fiddling around by uninstalling a few but m'eh... Too much trouble since I'd have to reinstall the others to restore overwritten textures... Augh, Mod Organizer Fallout 4 Edition can't come fast enough... I hate to say it but Nexus Mod Manager is freaking terrible at everything compared to it.
Edit: Arn't dem texturs bootiful?
what mods you exactly using, so far 512 mod helped a little(loading and saving still take a hell long)
I think I figured out the problem. The textures just take a few seconds to load in completely (for some reason, even though Skyrim uses 512x textures like the mod and they don't have to do that) and a mipmap problem was causing them to never load in completely. Seems to be better now, though I'm still seeing some cases of it it's less noticeable now...
...Still annoying though. What changed about this engine that makes it need 2-3x the requirements of Skyrim even with textures lowered to the same resolution it used? Bleh.
