They're around the same price range from what I've seen (at least on Amazon, I amazingly can't find prices anywhere on either of their actual websites) and I don't 100% trust the website to know.

It says one is better than the other, but it seems just about everything related to memory is better on the Radeon card and I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING HELP ME.
In other news, solved the x2click issue with an autohotkey script for now. Will probably take apart mouse tomorrow to see if we can fix it.

This. They used to be about even in capability, but lately NVIDIA has been putting wads of cash into developers pockets to make games that only perform well on NVIDIA hardware in order to guarantee themselves a market.
The AMD cards are descended from the ancient maker of GPUs known as ATI, whose cards have had legendary performance nearly 20 years already. They're in a bit of a slip now because AMD is having trouble competing with NVIDIA and Intel's unfair tactics in the marketplace, but that performance most certainly is still there. It just is harder to observe it because of the foul play going on.

eh, whatever floats your boat. i like watching people draw, and i usually do other things when watching streams.
EDIT: also the drawing surge is talking about is this.
"Kinda disappointed how [it] came out"
I AM NOT SEEING EITHER OF THESE STATEMENTS PROVEN.
