That and they perform better on a *nix system when formatted ext4 instead of ntfs, though doing this makes them incompatible with non-*nix equipment.
I'm not sure, I usually set it to FAT/FAT32, not sure what's the major difference, as for partition, most of the option on the window's partition tool so I cant really do anything there, so that flash drive met a hammer and it's in pieces now, good thing I found one of those 512MB drives, these stuff usually cost 50RM here, now it's a relic but still an operational one.
well fuck, the original files arent on my desktop!
