Okay then. Does it have an endosteel skeleton or just a basic segment system? Because endosteel makes burn offs and ammo explosions have little effect on the other sections of the mech. As all that will happen is the section of the torso will pop open, arm likely flying off and it can keep running due to compartmentalization. With standard it will still do some damage to the other torsos and legs. But still won't pop the whole thing out. (Although light mechs tend to have the biggest issue with it due to very little compartmentalization, allowing ammo dets to pop them in half)Think of it like the thick layer of steel between you and the engine of your vehicle. This is the only major reason that mechs are separated into left center and right torsos in fact.
