yeah. it's weird that he liked it, considering how much he dislikes JRPGs. every criticism he raised was valid (especially the "running by high level enemies to get by a low level mission. i have flashbacks of running away from level 40 monsters at level 15.) but that tends to be the norm.
though i do wonder if/when he'll interview XCOM 2 and how much he'll like it. he'll probably love it.
That said while XCOM2 is very good it is also aiming for a slightly different target than EU.
