What are your views on non-binary genders?
I don't really understand them.
The whole gender debate in itself confuses me to no end, since exactly what the components and variables that go into a gender have never quite been explained to me.
I mean I get the idea of people not feeling they fit in with the tropes of their biological gender, but from that point on it starts to get confusing.
Honestly, I don't care. You want labels, use labels, you don't care, more power to you, but the moment you start requesting to have entirely new pronouns made up and used because it's apparently rude or some crap like that: NO. We don't need a ton of gender pronouns, thank you very much. We have three in this language already, and those are more than enough. Hell, some languages don't even differentiate and their pronouns boil down to "person" and "not person".
If in my limited mental capacity I imagine you as male in my head, you will be "him", and if I imagine you as female, you will be "her", and if I can't make up my mind I am not afraid to use "them", and if you have a problem with that then chances are we won't get along in the first place so go away.
