If you cannot make your own music it's usually better to do things the other way around. Find music and either use short snippits that change as the tone. Or build the entire scene around the music. Find people who give creative license freely.
I linked adrianvon-ziegler for a reason. You're allowed to use his music in non-commercial creative projects with as little as a simple credits. (He has his clauses written down for such things.) could check about for others... I actually own two disk copies of Adrian's musik. (Different collections) And if you want to commercialise something with his musik, there's a small royalties fee for rights and boom. Yours to use as you see fit. No remixes or re-dubbing.
