And yes, its a coilgun minigun. Four? Tempted to do four. Though that'd give it a lower RoF...Five maybe?
Maybe an open shaft carbine is better or very short barrels.
Think about what you'd actually want the weapon to do.
Also, its the 33rd century. We have ultra dense and durable metals.
Plus, using a plasma membrane at the end of the barrel, the barrels can be evacuated of air.
If the coils are precise enough, then there'll be minimal friction.

There's also a tech which tears the electrons from an item, compressing it into something sorta like hammerspace.
