I'd think because the community is full of assholes, the game is competitive to a point where it can turn nice people into cunts, quite a fair few champions are horribly broken and most people who play it are very full of themselves to a point where team play is painful. Those are my reasons though, everyone's seems to vary drastically.

I don't dislike anything special about LoL in particular. In fact, I find the characters, music, graphics, and all that jazz to be varying levels of cool. In fact, due to my cousin playing it a lot, I know more about it than I do most MOBAs.
I just cannot stand MOBA gameplay in the slightest... and that's the most important part of a game.
Well, my distaste for PvP in general might be a factor. It's never really appealed to me.
Secondly, the highly... I dunno, "structured" nature of MOBA gameplay. By that I mean something like (note: I have no idea if this is even viable in gameplay), people being told to take mid and that they can't play Cho'Gath because he's more suited to jungle, or something. Which ties into my third point:
The "community" and competetiveness. Nobody can just have fun. It's treated like life or death most of the time, and if anyone's game doesn't go perfect they're usually blamed for everyone's problems. People can be outright hostile, even to supposed teammates, and in general people take it FAR too seriously. I can understand that for professional tournaments and the like, but come on.
