More importantly though the UK has historically always been kind of uncooperative with the EU, retaining the pound instead of adopting the euro for instance, so it's not as if the EU can actually force anything on members. Any regulative issues the UK has were just a product of dealing with bone headed protectionists I imagine, and leaving the EU will arguably only make dealing with them harder. The UK has bigger fish to fry than economic consequences though, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and even Gibraltar were all VERY against leaving the EU as all of them benefited from it quite dramatically, and by dragging them out of the EU England has soured internal politics in the UK and some are saying that more independence referendums are inevitable.
But first a question, did the EU have strict regulations that chokes small businesses as well as hurting buisnesses that did trading with countries across the world with these regualtions that benefited only large greedy corporations in the EU that did not want to have competitionand and adapt. Also did the EU passed a law that in which the people have no say in, only rich bureacrats that reap the benefits from these laws while the common person suffers.
I'm not sure about it but how to comment on that as I'm no part EU and all federation of malaysia
I will admit however that my outside perspective may be misguided or even flat out wrong, but I don't have time to research the matter right now.
