I wonder how these new forms work... Are they going to be the only ones you find in the wild there? If so, I'd rather they make more new pokemon than change already existing ones completely to make them seem new. Instead of an ice type sandshrew, they could have made a new ice type. Less complication and annoyance. Now when a trainer's going to send out a Ninetails you have to wonder if it'll be Ice or Fire...
new form=/=slot taken from an already existant pokemon
there's been a TON of new pokemon shown, a few alternate forms (with brand new types, and possibly different stats!) for gen 1 pokemon isn't a bad thing.
especially since we got this exeggcutor out of it
that alone
makes it worth
True... But I'm worried that these new forms will be the only versions of those pokemon you can find in the game without trading from a different game, in order to make them feel "fresh."
If you can still get a fire-type Vulpix some way, I'll be happy.
Not that I'll be playing these since I'd need a 3ds and I haven't owned any Pokemon game since Pearl so I'm like 3 generations behind.
