Title is pretty self explanatory, if I ignored any rules by posting this then take it down. The whole Avali forums started out as a way to discuss the Avali, but I can't be the only one who still plays as on in Starbound. There are no Avali servers, so I saw this forum and figured why not make a suggestion for an Avali server on the Nexus? Yes or no? And if anybody has suggestions on how it might work, post in the comments or something, mainly because I cant host the server.
The funny (and sad) thing is that we used to have a server... It was great but died out over time, unfortunately.
However, now that there's a stable out, it would be a good time to see if everyone's interested in a new server...
Of course we'd want to wait for a lot of mods to update, and even then Starbound's a laggy mess... hrm...
Eh, I dunno. I'd be up for it, but lots of people here seem to be very... unenamored with Starbound lately.
I think it would be cool just to have a general Starbound server, maybe, not focused around the Avali (yes, blasphemy!), with multiple races (including Avali, obviously), lots of mods, get people in from the SB forums and such too... I dunno, it just seems like the kind of game that would be great for large-scale servers (the exact opposite of Terraria, funnily enough, which is far better with minimal people in my experience)
Edit: I'll just go with yes for now.
Heresay! Non-Avali centric on a forum for the Avali-lovers of the world? My god! The humanity! *coughs* Erm, yes. Well, anyways, I'm glad that my suggestion is rolling now, and has at least minimal attention(that isn't negative). I agree with all of your points, but I dont want to make a mod list until it starts (if it does, that is). I mean, obviously it would need the Avali Triage mod, and maybe Peglaci, but IDK what else you guys would want. Maybe another thread for mods if the server starts? IDK.
