You weren't specifically looking for it here after all." Her words didn't distract her from looking around, as the opal seemed to frantically spin about, looking for things. And then she stopped suddenly, staring at the floor boards. But she didn't want to say anything. She REALLY didn't want to say anything. "So... There was some notes left behind previously by someone who is stated to have left the world and related stations. The notes are on shades or something." She's no longer frantically looking around as she says this
"The notes state that they feed on suffering somehow. Pain, terror, loss, etcetra. Well, I have uncounted years of that. By my own choice." Her voice quivers for a moment before she sighs. Releasing the stress again. "I think it's following me specifically right now.. I can't tell how far that extends. But it's beneath your floorboards.. I... I promise I will help repair this place once this is done with.. To the best of my ability, no matter how long it might take.. I need help destroying this thing. Every bit of it.. It will come back if it is not destroyed entirely, every fragment no matter how small.. I'll be honest. I can't do anything to harm this thing myself. That's why I literally need help. Hardlight and other sources of focused light can harm it. Even ehhm, negative sources... Don't freak out about this please, no use in getting another one destroyed."
There's a brief flash of blue light in odd cracks across her form as her body appears to split open. Only instead of that actually happening, the light seems to simply peel away, leaving a floating array of the opals where she once stood. 20. No, 30 of them now lay suspended in the air as they spread out amidst the building. "Do not worry, I did not abandon you." The voice appears to softly emanate from each and every suspended white stone, only to meld into a singular voice, even as it comes from all around. "I only hope it did not go too deep."
Edit: If you are having trouble responding, feel free to suggest revisements to my message to help. Hope folks are doing well during these troubled times.
Feizel would remain silent for the duration of the monologue, starting down at the floorboards beneath him. He knew perfectly well what to expect. At least he hoped so. The whole “I hope it’s not too deep” and turning into a mass of opals definitely warranted some concern. However now was not the time to waiver when presented with quite a task. He had several questions.... more along the lines of concerns. He would speak in hushed tone, keeping his eyes glued to the floor
“It this... your first time fighting this entity?”
"... Yes... I've encountered similar things many times, but never fought any before." There was a hesitant pause before she had spoken. Obviously hiding something, though no hint as to what it might be. But she'd also not hidden her hesitation either, it seemed by choice. "I can only empower or protect others when I am not bound. But at least I'm free to make my own choices and mistakes." She'd rambled a bit there.
A familiar, uncomfortable humming sound has begun to suffuse the room coming from below. Though it appears dulled by the presence of Azure. After a few moments it dulls to naught but sound. It's still there. But it won't be able to reach into someone's head and mess with them. "Well that was uncalled for." The suspended voice of Tetra spat out at the shaded entity as the floorboards began to creak, boards folding and pushing upwards where Sa'Nadil had stood a moment ago. Nails popped, wood splintered. It was not sudden though as feizel would find himself suddenly stood at an angle as crystals shone through the fragmented boards. And then the floor slammed down suddenly, the floor beginning to eat away rapidly. Feizel would find himself all at once suspended in the air above a gaping darkness below, with rough purple shapes far below that moved. And would begin to fall. but only for a moment as the opals effortlessly shoved Feizel to the side of the gap in the floor. far enough to grasp the unfrayed sides that yet had foundation below them. The small stones made small adjustments in the hope to help feizel back up. And as if perception was somehow skewed, it was notable that the hole in the floor was much smaller than it had initially seemed.
"Okay, maybe I can't completely counter it's effects on you. But at least I can reduce them to the point they're not debilitating." She didn't even try to explain anything. Though there was the noise of a bit of shuffling from the pantry area now. as a short figure appeared in the doorway with partially dilated eyes, looking to the hole in the floor, up to feizel and then suddenly he's holding a rather large pistol in his hands, but not pointing it anywhere. Doesn't say anything either though. It was a wonder where he managed to store such a thing on his form though. As Wrynn just stood there in the doorway, prepared for something.
