I thought it had pretty much been agreed upon - even in the semiserious RP, for heathen's sake - that any significant amount of shapeshifting is severely mildly aggravating at times.
Note: Also, I'm back... Already. After my little freakout I realized that the rest of my usual internet activities are much more boring without the Nexus being around too. (I mean asides from TVTropes, which now sits at 529 bookmarks in my menu. Aaaaa.)
Because we 1, already have souls and the afterlife, 2, have psychics, 3, have a dream anomaly, and 4, I did the precursor plot already.
I also never said that I would actually make it canon, only that Marx could not make the call about shapeshifting and suggested examples to support me. Whether or not shapeshifting appears depends on if Coro wants to do that character again.
I did wish to have the same character as before. i wished to keep her TF's down alot more as i felt it was rather high before which is why i was considering the consequences. and i simply wished it as it is a minor aspect of her to be able to do. She has always enjoyed learning about other races and using a inherited trait from her mother, she changes into the race she wishes to learn about. the consequences before were that she had to deal with all the natural instincts that come into being that race. she truly became what she changed into which often caused confusion for awhile but i feel its not enough so i added the additional issues should she be able to use it more than the initial time
as for the method of her transformation if anyone missed it before as it was explained along time ago. Coro's mother Yol naturally had insanely chaotic genetics to a point where she changed often from the environment around her. similar to an eevee except that the DNA is not stabilized after the change allowing another drastic change. This manifested in her children whom all have nothing in common by looks to her. Yol was born from a dragon and human where the dragon was cursed into a human form. the DNA was still there for the dragon but was altered and unstable due to not being her natural form. this is the origin of it. this trait passed to all Yol's young and indeed to Corosar.
Corosar uses this to her advantage by using a heavily modified atomic teleportation device (which is a watch like device on her right wrist.) to rearange her DNA and body into that of the race she wishes to change into. she adopts the mind of the race she becomes. unlike her mother that can change without help Coro can't at all without the device. she also needs a DNA sample before she can change.
though again... that is if she will be able to change after the initial time.
