((These character ideas have been whipping at me since I've even begin to think about them.
i think they're ready now to be revealed.))

It was dark, in fact completely dark. In the middle of the "environment" there was a single pillar of light, projected from an unknown height above. There was nothing to remember, and it should've stayed that way. Mind you, the environment was almost perfectly quiet, if it weren't for the clicking of a stave hitting the floor. A hand emerged from the darkness into the light, a rather weak one, but with sharp talons adorning it as "fingers". Afterwards, the full figure merged with the light, a hunched over, teal feathered man, with heavy plate shoulder pads on both sides, robes that were pretty much rags stitched together, with metal plating amplifying it's defense. He held onto a strange looking scythe in his left hand, if you would say. A skull served as the end of the scythe blade, and in fact, the entire hilt.. rod was made from bone, tied together with some fine-looking cloth. The skull "breathed" out a dark energy. On his back remained two scrolls. One rather small one with an opening in between, serving as a sheathe for the scythe maybe? The other was rather large and long. Both scrolls had rather strange symbols written onto them, and they were tied together with a fine red cloth. Underneath the larger scroll was a less noticeable shield with some white painting on it.
Finally, the semi-silence was broken. He tried speaking really, but he was only met with mumbles erupting from his mouth. He sniffed around with his beak, his eyes almost closed due to the poor reception of the light in such a dark place. He began channeling something, which in reality was really just mumbles that seemed to sound like some ritualistic chant. In the end though, it was a dream, as he woke up, falling off of his hammock tied to two trees, which in turn was covered by a rather make-shift cloth tent in the middle of the forest, some could say. He quite, in fact, literally was. Maybe not in the middle but it's hopefully understood what's trying to be given here. He was without his helmet and shoulder pads, scrolls and weaponry as he woke up. They were lying around the sealed tent however. He picked up his things and wore them with pride as he stepped out of his "tent", using his scythe as a walking stick once more, albeit the skull did not spew dark clouds of energy. He was hoping to pick up some pieces on history.. himself, and what's around.

After a hard day of writing some shitty terminal journals on some scrapped computer he found out in the wilderness, Shri'lek equipped his armor, which was literally out of wood. It was painted red and white, sometimes just streaks of the colors. Maybe to intimidate?
He had black fur, a black tail, in fact, he was like a humanoid panther under that armor. His camp was rather simple, a tent made out of hardened leather, supported by more wood, scrapped, absolutely ruined computer stored inside, including a leather sleeping roll and other necessities.. made by an extremely stupid and primitive panther-man.
He stepped outside, looking at the sky. He contemplated lighting the fire, even though wasting wood enough recently. Then again, he was probably making stupid choices because he had already made the stupid choice of licking the fluid out of what was the energy source of said computer. Somehow he managed to seal it up, bring it back, get angry that it was "NO WORKY!", and shake it a few times.
Fate seemed to give the being technology, but it was obvious it shouldn't of received it in the first place.
After a long contemplation of making the campfire lit or not, he decided not to and walked off into the woods, most likely hunting for something.

(kol'jiak, spoilers really don't like 's between things.)
The water dripped from the ceiling. Sometimes onto the floor. Sometimes into the pool of water surrounding the floor. This was inside a very dark cave system that had a very expansive.. lake? Other than the water it was too quiet.. aside from the echoing snores. Then, something creaked. Heavy footsteps could be heard. Many clinks against metal. Something walked over to something and stopped making noise there after. Que a generic match lighting effect and a bonfire was consumed by flame rather quickly, revealing a stone throne, a bowl of raw fish, a revolving "spiral stair case of books".. and a mutant looking thing. He was red skinned, horned, with fins extending from both wrists backwards a fair length down his arms, clawed feet crossed as he sat back, his tail curled around the seat, wearing "pants" that looked more like a metal loincloth combined with metal shorts, held up by a plated belt. He had more of a dragon's maw for a face, jagged teeth sticking out of it slightly.
He had a mask, a set of fins behind his head, horns leading to those fins. Onto the mask, really. The mask was made out of a black leather. It covered most of his head and neck. His horns, forehead, and even left eye were covered, albeit the left eye was covered by a ruby.. monocle looking thing. His exposed right eye darted around the dark room, while his "ruby eye" flickered on, emitting some light. It looked to his left, and he grabbed what looked like some strange lobster, albeit dead, with his clawed hand. He munched on it, in utter silence, watching the flames dance in the darkness.

Bow down, overdweller.
