Almost sounded like the noise a human would make. Oh well. Awake now, Nahaku blearily clambered out of his bunk and went to find a lift to the control deck.// Are you sure you want your character to be illiterate? I mean, it's on you.
You step into the hallway. You realize there isn't a lift or a control deck, and quickly forget such silly ideas before wandering around, looking for the elevator to the bridge.

What symbol was your room again? Was it on your datapad?

But first he tries to find a map.
He feels the small tremor, but much to his surprise, remains upright.
Guess we'll be moving in a little bit.

And so he'd been spending most of the time on the ship between eating or exercising aerobics or sleeping in his room the past number of days sitting at a security terminal, reading and attempting to memorize every single security precept run in the ship. You have a better understanding of some technology that goes into this ship, but the specifications seem incomplete.
From door lockups, to hull breach protocols, all the way to airlock cycling and internal sensors monitoring. He didn't need to know how to read all the information from every system, just how to make sure only the people that should, can. He had to know these things, for the safety of the crew, who amounted to, as close as he could find, what would be his new family. But his mind flickered to more petty concerns now: These chairs were ill fit for the small avali frame; he believed he may be getting a rash beneath his coat from the constant sitting. But eh, he'd been shot and stabbed before, nothing that'd bother him.
//Extended period studying ship systems and memorizing security.

Perhaps she could find someone else to talk to...well, someone other than the bunkmates that just saw her fall. There is someone nearby, in black, glossy body armor. White block letters identify them as Security.

Why does engineering have more maps than anywhere in the ship?
//What would her surroundings consist of? Any doors or markings? Also, can we roll for internal damage?
Anyways, it turns out you're going in the right direction.
Your surroundings are the light blue panels of the walls, ceilings, and floors, with blocky, angular trimmings that frame it with harsh corners. There are a few doors nearby, all unmarked.
// Are you sure you want to roll for internal damage? If you lose this character before there's been any combat, you will never live it down.

He starts to walk toward the elevator, but the sudden lurching of the ship makes him fall flat on his face. He groans, then scrambles on all fours, trying to enter the elevator before it closes.

She quickly pats down her pockets to ensure the contents didn't get jostled around too much before scanning the area. You know from waling around each block is striped with hallways, alternating between bow-stern and port-starboard. But this block has no hallways you can see. Looking further down the hall to the hull-hugging perimeter hall, you see that it's cut off here, this block is flush with the hull. Is there any entrance to this block? What's inside?
"Lets see, a window... long path... hold on", Sasha muttered to herself, noticing something unusual as she glanced at the block diagonally across from her. She decided to make her way towards it to inspect more closely.
