Aren makes a mental note to find whoever devised these symbols and yell at them as he waits for the elevator to reach the appropriate floor.

While he waits, he pulls his own data pad out; he hadn't really used it until now, and it might do him well to look over what it can do.
And five people step in, then press medical floor Decagon. The elevator then stops at Pentagon mess hall as planned, and opens again.
Meanwhile, you looked at your datapad. It is a metal tablet, not very large or heavy. The main screen lists your name, species, and position. It appears to have programs of convenience, like a calculator, calendar, file browser, document viewer, and... a virtual slide ruler?

Sirius heads for the 'North' elevator.
You head to the north elevator.

//You realize you technically just said yes to what I asked right? He's been studying software and how it connects to the hardware, not the hardware itself. The software is incomplete. Hooray. We will all be dead very soon. Whether I'm right or not doesn't matter. He's noticed holes in the systems, and so he is going to freak because that is obviously not a good thing. And very dangerous. It is within his character to be quite paranoid.
Johnny had begun to notice a recurring theme. Not only were entire sections of the ship not included in any of the networks or electronic maps. There were huge holes everywhere in the software thanks to this. Meaning a child could accidentally kill everyone by hitting buttons randomly and having the systems just "Decide" to interpret it as a "Flush all life support" command. They were quite possibly fucked. And he pulled up his pad to attempt to call the captain, or at the least, get in contact with SOMEONE on the bridge to tell them his findings. And if nothing else, get them to stop before everyone ends up dead or stranded and then dead. This would not do. It would not do at all.
Basically, you don't need to know, and you'll never see it anyways.

Cross smiles brightly as she continues on her way towards the elevator out of the barracks. She looks down at her datapad to remind herself exactly where her room is...just to be safe.
You are now at an elevator, the floor legend is nearby.
