Aren packs up his tools and exits the corvette, satisfied that for now it is running properly, and checks the nearest map to make sure he remembers the way back to his quarters properly.

Silver's large ears twitch at the sound of the approaching elevator. As he waits for it, he tries to find the quickest path from the mess hall to the fighter bay, just for future reference.
As the elevator reaches this floor, the doors open, and everyone inside promptly exits, scattering out to find their rooms. The elevator sits empty, waiting for a passenger.

Fun fact, did you know each room is meant for two people?

He then wraps up his inspection.
You quickly write onto the datapad (everyone has a small one, check your equipment people), and send it to the first appropriate engineering superior on the list. Job well done.

You reach the end of the hall. You are at the very end of the block, so the crossroad is immediately to your right, while the left streches ever onwards. Beyond that crossroad you can see a window.

Something's odd about the block diagonally to the one you just exited.

You exit the room as it clatters to life with sounds of work. You walk a little while before you realize you don't know where you're going.

Silver was aware that there was a second bed in his room, but he had not yet seen his roommate.

He starts to walk toward the elevator, but the sudden lurching of the ship makes him fall flat on his face. He groans, then scrambles on all fours, trying to enter the elevator before it closes.

As Sasha reaches a crossroads, the engines roar to life, causing her to stumble a little but quickly regain her balance. She quickly pats down her pockets to ensure the contents didn't get jostled around too much before scanning the area.

"Lets see, a window... long path... hold on", Sasha muttered to herself, noticing something unusual as she glanced at the block diagonally across from her. She decided to make her way towards it to inspect more closely.
Nahaku was in his quarters, lost in troubled dreams, when he was roused by a drone over the intercom. Almost sounded like the noise a human would make. Oh well. Awake now, Nahaku blearily clambered out of his bunk and went to find a lift to the control deck.
Aren mentally notes the ship shuddering as an indication that they were finally underway as he headed for the nearest lift to return to his quarters.
After quite some time of looking out the window, Sirius decides he has better things to do and starts making his way to the armory.

But first he tries to find a map.

Johnny sho sat in what seemed a magnetically clamped chair, cycling again through all security systems on a nearby terminal, he WAS security after all,  It'd pay if he knew how to do every part of his job.  And so he'd been spending most of the time on the ship between eating or exercising aerobics or sleeping in his room the past number of days sitting at a security terminal, reading and attempting to memorize every single security precept run in the ship.

From door lockups, to hull breach protocols, all the way to airlock cycling and internal sensors monitoring.  He didn't need to know how to read all the information from every system, just how to make sure only the people that should, can.  He had to know these things, for the safety of the crew, who amounted to, as close as he could find, what would be his new family.  But his mind flickered to more petty concerns now:  These chairs were ill fit for the small avali frame; he believed he may be getting a rash beneath his coat from the constant sitting.  But eh, he'd been shot and stabbed before, nothing that'd bother him.

Huh, there's a map nearby, halfway through this hallway. Why does engineering have more maps than anywhere in the ship?

Anyways, it turns out you're going in the right direction.

Your surroundings are the light blue panels of the walls, ceilings, and floors, with blocky, angular trimmings that frame it with harsh corners. There are a few doors nearby, all unmarked.

You know from waling around each block is striped with hallways, alternating between bow-stern and port-starboard. But this block has no hallways you can see. Looking further down the hall to the hull-hugging perimeter hall, you see that it's cut off here, this block is flush with the hull. Is there any entrance to this block? What's inside?
