And so he waits.
The car comes, and empties of people. You step inside.

You find a map program. You wonder why no-one uses it. You open the map program. The screen now only has "Updating Position" on it. You wait a while. A frustratingly long while.
Suddenly there is a map of your local area, you in the center, and an arrow pointing west to your room. You really wonder why no-one uses it.
You step forward, and the screen suddenly turns back to "Updating Position". It takes the same time as last time for the map to return. So that's why no-one uses it.
You head west, where the arrow was last pointing.

You are surrounded by the mess hall. There are tables and chairs as far as the eye can see, all bolted to the floor. Scattered throughout are enclosed kitchens, each serving a different menu.

Pentagon seems like the better choice to go to. Cross nods to herself and calls the elevator.
The elevator stops here, and a large number of people exit, leaving the elevator empty.

As you look around, you see what everyone is doing. Some are carrying crates, others are using mechanized cargo pallets. Others have their datapads out, bringing them close to a crate, then moving on to the next, before picking up a crate, and hauling it away into certain side rooms, whose doorframes are striped with warning sigils, others put down a crate, bring the pad close, and tap on the screen for a while before moving away.
Curious, you bring out your own datapad, where you find a program unique to your job: Info Tag Management.
Over the constant mechanical din, you can hear someone giving out orders from here.

Always by the right side wall, leaving plenty of space other side of hall, and allowing him to brace himself if there was any more turbulent activity for the ship to contend with.
You head to the central elevators without too much trouble.

You went looking for the armory. You don't find it, but you do find a map of the local area, with elevators marked.
