I just had an odd though...
Since there is no seasonal cycle on a spaceship, how would the winter fur of a jakkai react?

Will the always be with or without their winter fur?
Will they be stuck in a transitional phase, having patches of both normal and winter fur?
Will it act erratic, changing randomly?
Or, will it change normally, implying that it changes purely based on time?

It'll start off in normal circadian rhythm and start going into "what the fuck is happening" mode over a long time, changing based on how precisely hot or cold engineering decided the ship should be today.
Sooo... What about security sidearms? What will be using? Or are we allowed to choose a tool of the trade ourselves?

Because I have one that has easily produced and re-formed ammo and I wanted to know if I'd be able to use it or if we're going all "Lazers an' pwasma 'n spaec." It's designed to maim rather than kill.

Well, if this ever recovers, you'll use ballistic weapons, although not at all harmless. Nice idea, waaay to complex.
Nowhere near as complex as you think considering we already have carbon pucks that if kept really cold will float atop magnets with negative polarity.  And we have been using this theory on bullet trains and monorails for a long, long time already.  :]

Simply make charcoal quite cold and you can use it in place of ferromagnetic slugs for magnetic accelerator weapons.

I will honor your wishes though.

Hmm. I'd assumed there was enough room on a planet for three races to still have different cultures. And remnants of their old separate lives before they originally discovered each other to have survived. such as avalian names, who've come to adopt a simpler name to allow easier acknowledgement by the others with differing cultures.

While the setting has a FTL drive it still can't keep carbon at supermaterial-level cold inside a small ammo clip, or even a gun.

About the whole Avali culture thing, well the first thing to realize is that there is no remnants of whatever history these races previously had, so the culture may not be the same. The second thing is that their IU culture is still there, just part of the melting pot that is this solar civilization. On a scale from simple to English, the complexity of the language, rituals, and taboos is somewhere off the charts, but that's all backstory that can be segregated, in the name of keeping things less horrifying to roleplay.
I had meant only as far as names, but yeah.  Will go by Johnny Sho for simplicity' sake.

Gotcha on weaponry.

Most i'll probably be using is needle drivers.
Question, are there Humans in this?

Yes

Any species selected for your character is retroactively a species that exists in-universe.

Unless you abuse this rule.
Got any pictures that would give us an idea of what the ships and fighters would look like?

Nope. I'll do my best to describe something that might look like a fighter when we get to one in-game, though.
Why so Sirius?

What about vehicles for planetside use? Surely they don't expect explorers to walk everywhere down there.
SHIVs for everyone!
If we're going xenos purging I definitely want a SHIV

Well they can be equipped with nigh anything and are meant to go somewhere so you don't have to put people at risk.  (Largest plot hole of Star Trek)

Yes there are vehicles, I never said there would be no vehicles.
