Yeah, normally they aren't lying around. Something probably knocked it out of a stand, or someone hit one of the dispensers and left it on the floor by accident. Dunno.

shhhhh quiet, I'm attempting to diagnose the problem.

No, I actually ran out of drives... And if you mean you, I don't have a "753-signal" or something like that.
I think the problem stemmed from when he tried to assimilate a high-energy power source... Once it broke the massive amount of energy was released and coursed through his entire, uh...

There is an old human adage: time heals all wounds.
I've found this to be more true than they realized, time has an impeccable ability to repair itself, where the "Destiny" so to speak of a universe is violated the timeline quickly crafts a new one to take it's place, it forms an ever expanding and growing tree of timelines and possibilities, however I can only assume that these events are caused by travelers such as myself using other means of transport accidentally crossing paradox laws. I know from experience that the result of such a thing can be quite explosive.

who you would have sought out has changed weekly, by my time I mean, which considering I am functionally immortal and jump around timelines as a hobby is roughly comparable to every minute for you. Also yes I would indeed consider such a moderately connected collective to be a body, especially given that the nanites appear to be pooling resources in order to function at this processing level.

how do you know this?

I have acquired quite a few gadgets and toys in my travels, what I am concerned with though is this personality imprint, you identified him as surge but I cannot recognize this imprint as him, it looks more akin to a blank Tecarian template that was only half filled in.

Tecarian?

I see the memory loss is extensive indeed....

Well, according to 753, they only create another timeline... I can confirm this- there's an old theory that every time a decision is made or something is changed, an alternate universe is created in which another decision was made or the change never happened.
So, technically, since the "change" bit has been proven, your changes
do live on... Just in another timeline.

If what you are asking me to do is recover him from this mess then I must say that it is not possible, what's more I am curious if we could even introduce a "new" imprint, this code seems to be quite active and I am not entirely sure how it will react to introducing something so foreign.
