Don't worry, U...
We have it under control.
Just because I'm crazy doesn't mean I don't care about my friends.
Same goes for me. My name may be Apathy, but I won't let everyone die.
An event will happen.
Something even Samhain cannot predict.
Hell, even we weren't able to predict it at first!
But there's a catch...

*opens a large metal package, revealing a red blade, with a multi layered glass circle by the hilt, and blue detailing*

It can easily been inferred that this, pulse... is human in origin. Instead of appropriating the monitor and audio feeds directly, it CHOOSES to manifest as a visual avatar on part of the screen, and generates a pseudo physical environment and uses it to hide behind display elements, and emulates complex emotion
One could make the claim that it is aesthetically pleasing but at the same time it is confoundingly inefficient and extremely questionable. It's possibly why it asks to allocate so much memory space, exorbitant amounts of superfluous coding.
apologies, but it seemed logical to voice misgivings, opinions, and reason for confusion.
*the metal avali resumes being silent*
*was unaware of your presence before hand* My form? I chose this form a while back *recognizes you as the one who read my binary pulse* I don't remember when, though. I can attain that my form program and all facilities to it takes up about 500 Megabytes. Response to the emulation of complex emotion. How is it emulation if the brain can be digitized and data can be implicated onto biological substrates in return.
So not a true ai, but a digitized form of a brains wave patterns and neural structure...
"Figures..."
*a spark flies out the back of the metal avali's head and it falls limply onto the floor*
Tim is quickly at the mountain, jumping down from the craft hovering above the crater.
"Hmm, now what?"

*rubs his tempels*
All this is giving me a headache
*a sizable hole is revealed in the back of the head, the internals are completely exposed to the elements*
S T R, errrrrr...
*goes silent*
So what do we do for them? I don't know if they're hurt or how bad.

We can't do anything, either...
On the contrary, however, we're definitely going to do something afterward.

You'll see later. He won't permanently be dead... After all, I'm his superego, and technically him. When he finally comes back, I'll have to give up my life for him to return...
What?! You didn't say anything about that!
What are we going to do?
As much as I want to be free, we can't keep going without you to guide us!
It'll be some giant clusterfuck of chaos... I mean, normally I'd love that, but not in this way!
Relax, relax... He'll be taking my place. You four won't be alone... He'll have to get used to you, though.

"I wold say wake them up, but...that might not be a good idea. We should probably bring them back down to town."
"What if Sheinam- I mean, Samhain- is still up here, though?"
Umbra pauses.
"Oh, right... U revealed to me that they were the same person."

"He was a really huge asshole, and apparently also some kind of magician, who got his hands on an artifact that's basically a powered-up knockoff of Shulk's ability to see into the future."
I'd rather not fight at all...
