Thankfully, I don't get too far ahead by the time Umbra takes off - only a body length or two away. "I see you actually decided to fly this time!"

"Last time, I forgot I had the ability to change, okay?" Umbra opens his hand a little and marvels at the sword-shaped construct that forms out of pinkish-purple, wispy energy in his hand. "Awesome. It still works."

I nodded, and continued flying. We were almost at the mountain, and almost close enough to see what kind of devastation took place...

U?! U, what's going on?!
>It burned out...
The power we infused in Wrybdeac... It happened again.
This is the same thing that happened last time... Before the plan could be put into action, the power was released early...
Samhain survived that, and now we won't have the requirements to overload his connection to the Scribes...
I don't even know if Sylrein survived that... It's possible this may be the end...

My power is already close to fading... Earlier, this time, than the last...
I can't create the next U... So this was the final attempt... And it's ruined...

U, you aren't looking far enough into the future. All is not lost.

"Phew...that's a relief, at least..."
Tim sees everybody rushing to the mountain, so he runs back inside his house. A few minutes later, he runs back out wearing a tough looking set of armor, with a pistol and his rifle. He rushes into his landing craft, and quickly flies over to the mountain.

*the metal avali suddenly starts to speak quite eloquently*

It can easily been inferred that this, pulse... is human in origin. Instead of appropriating the monitor and audio feeds directly, it CHOOSES to manifest as a visual avatar on part of the screen, and generates a pseudo physical environment and uses it to hide behind display elements, and emulates complex emotion

One could make the claim that it is aesthetically pleasing but at the same time it is confoundingly inefficient and extremely questionable. It's possibly why it asks to allocate so much memory space, exorbitant amounts of superfluous coding.

apologies, but it seemed logical to voice misgivings, opinions, and reason for confusion.

You've already helped. Trust me.
Don't worry, U...
We have it under control.
Just because I'm crazy doesn't mean I don't care about my friends.
Same goes for me. My name may be Apathy, but I won't let everyone die.
An event will happen.
Something even Samhain cannot predict.
Hell, even we weren't able to predict it at first!
But there's a catch...

*was unaware of your presence before hand* My form? I chose this form a while back *recognizes you as the one who read my binary pulse* I don't remember when, though. I can attain that my form program and all facilities to it takes up about 500 Megabytes. Response to the emulation of complex emotion. How is it emulation if the brain can be digitized and data can be implicated onto biological substrates in return.
