I originally intended for him to be a serious threat, but at the moment of his introduction he was practically backhanded into being an Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain by Surge.

...Other than...possibly come back and bind "rogue" Ateros to his will like he did with Wryb, which isn't a fun idea for me.

Asides from being an incredibly powerful "magician" who's stood up against both Eltereavean and Ezvrael at the same time, reverted himself from being a foxtaur, broken the fourth wall almost as much as Deadpool[citation needed], and broken out of a transdimensional holding cell located somewhere impossible (with the help of Ezvrael), he also does still have an Ateros.
