And yet, in that dramatic moment, it somehow felt as though she was hanging in midair like a comic character that just fell off a cliff and was about to toss off a one-liner before falling to their doom.

But doom was not in store for Danu today as she tumbled onto the top of the drill, scrambling to grab hold of it.

"Okay, so we're inside. Everyone get off this drill, and be careful. He said it was being retracted for sharpening, there'll probably be some sort of mechanism with grindstones to do so. The spark showers are scary but won't hurt you if you get out of the way quickly.

Danu helps them get Marxon off of the drill and onto a solid looking maintenance platform, a bit unnerved by the sudden darkness but not letting it stop her. She quickly casts one of her orbs to illuminate their surroundings and make sure nobody slips off the platform into a dark abyss.

"Seems we made it aboard. What's next?"

//As far as deaths go, the crystal forms separately from the corpse. In practice it is better to recover the corpse because it can be examined for health problems that can be corrected in the cloned body that is constructed to replace it, and then properly disposed of or recycled as raw material for further clones.

//While it is better to retrieve both corpse and crystal, only the crystal is needed to revive someone. If Marxon was killed such a crystal would form, but if he chooses not to be revived it will quickly blacken and shatter before it can be activated for revival.

Well have to keep Marx's body here and connected- so gonz, no taking his body.
Our next step is to work our way to the terminal... We'll be able to shut down whatever's powering the defenses and, hopefully, get this thing back in space on a self-destruct timer.

NO, and i'm sure it will turn into a crystal if he is dead, and if it does then you can't have it because we can use the crystal to bring him back to life
*goes into the building from the open door*
Crystal should be separate from his body, just have to find it.
body is still mine though, you people can have the crystal.

*the light on his wrist turns off unceremoniously*
good question. i'd suggest moving upwards, ships like this will often have the bridge and systems higher in the construct. though we might want to find the main maintenance terminal so we can stop this drilling.

For some reason, it's either not appearing or just hasn't appeared yet...
And again, you most likely won't get the body. It kind of needs to stay connected so we can more or less see things... It might keep other things from going crazy, too.

if you had any idea of what kind of value you're putting underground for sentimental reasons...
"Not necessarially. Unplugging him caused things to shut off, and they don't necessarially turn back on unless someone goes and pushes the button to activate them again. Though it might have ended up knocking out power to most of the ship, there's a chance the terraforming already stopped."

Danu was floating her orb near some control panels, looking to see if they had any markings that would suggest what their functionality was.
