Oh, and polychromatic plating is exactly what it sounds like. It can be used instead of paint to change the color of ships, weapons, and armor, as well as for cloaking. Requires more power, though- which should be accounted for with an Ether power source.
Oh chroma steel is what i know it by, i forged the entire exterior out of articulated microplates of it, I thought it'd make the ai show its colorful side.
And what else was I supposed to do when I was trapped in a ship with just it for 3 months, darn thing can't play chess...
