"There's a lot out there that simply cannot be explained though. This mirrors thing seems interesting, I've never heard of anyone using a mirror to access the void. The Genesis did it by way of using absolutely staggering amounts of energy to forcibly break through the dividers between realms."

//I was thinking of something similar to that. Right now, my character has it jury-rigged to his ship's power core, so it can't be used multiple times without a substantial recharge period. Also, I figured that the drawbacks could range anywhere from temporary unconsciousness to severe burns or even only a partial transport (when only some parts of your body fully teleport with you, ending in limb loss or something equally bad).

We should stage an effort to revive it... It's so... slow.))
NO TASKS NEEDED TO BE COMPLETED AT THE MOMENT.

ENTERING SLEEP MODE.

Ah. yeah.. that is.. burning into my.. bones.

Still fine, i think.

I would let the sentinel do something about it if it wasn't malfunctioning..

the mirror is ineffective in multiple ways. the two connected mirrors are made of some complex materials in an not too easy process and if they are moved more than a few miles apart, they won't connect and any thing put in one end will be lost.
it needs raw Ordo Essentia if you want things to move faster than their normal sluggish pace.
the mirror is far more fragile, and has a limited size, it's about the size of a computer monitor.
and it only works on non-living things. rock, metal, etc. food or living things... well. the void is not a very hospitable place.
but as long as things are within these limitations, it can do pretty much all you need it too. albeit slow.

oh shut your ass! there is more to knowledge than destruction and world domination. if i wanted to conquer the world i would not have spend time and resources on things like roads allowing you to move faster, and mirrors allowing transportation of small items.
all i want is knowledge, and that is a noble pursuit you clearly don't know the first thing about!

I did it. The pedestal is set up, so the device connected yesterday won't lay on the floor. Ugh, not going to work on the second one for a while though...hard work. What's going on?
