The forest is bright and sunny, some sort of strange reptiles croak from the treetops.
Ebendach walks down a precarious staircase carved into the side of a ravine and enters down into a cave...
Deep down in the cave, another forest blooms. The ground is warm with geothermal energy and the thick trees have trunks of black and their leaves glow with golden light. A small wooden hut sits roughly in the middle of the vast cavern.
Ebendach looks in the window and knocks. A moment later, he enters. He looks around, confused, and leaves, calling for Wryb.
Giving up, he heads back to the surface...
