you know... it's possible there might be something forcing the eclipse to happen... that's usually the case with stuff like this. as for the light thing... I'm not sure what's causing that...
As the light dims, Tim instinctively pulls out the pistol on his right hip, scanning the area. "I wonder what's causing that light to go out......" he says quietly. He pulls out a pair of specs, and puts them on. After he does, they light up, providing Tim with night vision.

She forms another glowing orb and lets it loose, drifting towards where the voice was coming from. Whoever this was they were making a big show out of nothing and spoiling the otherwise pleasant mood.
