Because if I see one more page of nothing but Austin and Joey I will drive an anti-materiel rifle down my own throat so far that by the time I try to fire it, my stomach acids would have melted half of the gun.
I think maybe we should just use the old CF Nexus for that? I dunno. The SRS BSNS RP is still there, so...?

...Right, I forgot about this.
It will be up momentarily.

They should just marry each other.
// On a side note, trying to get a server open.
// Jesus christ it is hard as fuck right now.
I think the server is up now...
Eh.. time to fuck with it even more.
I love the science advisor's lines when doing research on the zuul, it has such a "please don't make us do that again, I beg of you" tone to it and I always instantly start research on the next zuul tech.

It's the zuul. Their pasttimes include taking slaves, making their minions fight to the death, and psionically ripping information from prisoners. They are a brutal society that contains only violence and cruelty for cruelty's sake.
Studying them is not fun at best and lethally dangerous at worst.
Its up.
The damn server is up.
RED
The most red we can get with the color selection here
Hm.
I still think we should look into figuring out how to change the color selection if possible...
If possible.

i don't know how to edit anything in the text editor.
If I did, i'd also remove the shadow as well.

I take it Odin's the one who installed the text editor?
Because if you installed the text editor, you should know where the code that adds it is.
And if you know where the code that adds it is, you should theoretically know where the code that controls it is.
Unless it's being pulled from a third-party source.
Bleh.

Text editor came with the theme. The quick reply editor is just the normal editor put in the quick reply box.
Ridiculous exercise in naming conventions complete. I have given every type of vessel in SotS a custom name. This is significant to me because I started to run out of names and towards the end we had stuff like the "Devastator class barrage dreadnought" "Onager class torpedo platform" and "Oracle class listening post"
I am far too proud of the name of the Testudo Class Fleet Defense Vessel.
For those who don't know a Testudo is an infantry formation similar to a Phalanx, front ranks crouch behind their tower shields, and every rank past that raises their shield over the heads of the rank in front of them, barring an exposed flank a testudo is impervious to ranged attack.

and then you have your nutty sword guys rush at it and they manage to make an opening possibly.
unless you're not stupid and have swordpeople at the ready

Charging a testudo head on is never a good idea. Those are ROMAN shields, so some of the best soldiers of the ancient world are carrying them, and if it's a Triarii they'll have spears poking out too, otherwise you'll slam into a metal reinforced block of wood and then the guy behind it will move it aside and stab you with his sword. What you want to do is use the slow speed of the testudo and it's exposed sides to outmaneuver it.
Source: I've been abusing Roman discipline and armor in Total War to obliterate significantly larger armies who refuse to try and outmaneuver us. If I get to bog them down in a 1v1 or even 2v1, my Principes and Triarii win every time.
