Good, sounds like something worth throwing money at.

No they all pop up under radar, but I can't do shit to 4 corvettes at once.

2 MiGs or a MiG and a Condor should be enough for a corvette

How many bases you have? 2?
you know.you can build.new bases/a new base next to yout main one but buit it purely for air supremancy

One in Sicily and one in Panama. 3 interceptors at each.
I'm still drunk, and i want to hug all of you.

"there's your problem" 3 interceptors, you can have 5 hangars on the top row one for dropship the others for interceptors.

6 hangars, my mistake

Another version.

This is what happens when I am trying out a new pixel art program and have an hour of free time.

What program is it that you're using?

GraphicsGale.

It's pretty coo!

There's a free version, with the only penalty being unable to export gifs.

They knew exactly which functionality everyone would want.

Look upon my works, ye mighty, and be glad this won't be your job. (Hold on while I search the GNU C docs for how to get the length of an array...)

Ohey, C code. I wonder how long it will take you until I no longer understand your code. (I don't actually remember that much from C. Besides, I only really did something with C#, which is a bit horrible.)

Yep.

A lot of the guys I know in another forum have used it for years for FFT's spritework, though. So the no-gif thing wasn't really an issue.

I FINALLY AM A REAL CODER. NO LONGER AM I BOUND TO THE JAVA RUNTIME! I AM FR- I'm going to have to learn Linear Algebra and Calculus to do all the things I take for granted in Processing, aren't I?

Depends what kind of processing. In systems I hardly used any maths. A lot of programming abstractions though like threads, semaphores, monitors et al.

Some things become more straightforward, others you've gotta hack together yourself because they aren't there as a convenience (eg. want a nice data structure like a LIFO stack? I hope you know how to write it yourself then)

C# is Microsoft's Java, and Java started being pretty shit when they cared more about security updates and backwards compatibility (I've heard things about generics one too many times from Java programmers) than fixing mistakes of the past and adding functionality.

Which incidentally coincides with Oracle buying out Sun.

I'm actually liking C, anyways.

Processing, the programming language that's really just a version of Java where more things behind the scenes are controlled for you and has tons of tie-ins to OpenGL.

"Form a defensive perimeter around the command room!"
"You guys hear that? Above us-OHJESUSAAAAAGGHHH"
"Fire everything!"
"We missed sir"
"All of you!?"
"Yes sir"
"3 more reapers spotted sir!"
"What the shit..."
"GRENAAAAADE"

Needless to say I lost.

That's smart businessing, right there.

You can export the individual frames as .png's though, and turn them into a gif using something else.

Like a pirated copy of the paid version.

We really don't get a whole lot of new people, and besides maybe posting a lot about yourself that people can reference on for other stuff, there's really not much reason to go by there often. I do try to welcome those who ARE actually new to the forums, but besides that it's not really active.

It's not really a problem though. At least, for me it isn't.
