So why are you doing it?...
So they don't overrun the planet of course!

Oh, right.
You're doing it wrong. Just nuke the planet from orbit and be done with it.
Cajun food is vaguely like an abusive girlfriend. It's great at first but it's constantly trying to burn you out so you can't enjoy anything else.
Emphasis on burn.

Here's the thing. There is no such thing as a planet with no orks. They reproduce by spores that can survive in space, killing them is a temporary solution that makes it worse in the long run but it's the only option as they do nothing with their lives but fight. You can't just blow up the entire imperium because then they're still everyone else's problem.

Yet no one will ever know how said sores will land on said planets in the vastness of space...
To me that just seems silly
Unless little spore based rocket ships, That seems badass

Spaceships. They get carried around unintentionally by spaceships. Or splayed everywhere by the destruction of an ork ship.

Seems like something that would get caught onto easily and called to panic o ^o

That depends on time to maturity, especially in such an inorganic environment. People can go missing in the depths of an imperial cruiser, a few fungal growths or dormant spores will almost certainly go unnoticed. Not to mention they are usually released in mass quantities during battles, and in the logistical clusterfuck that is any large scale guard department these things are even less likely to be noticed.

Maybe just a routine close flyby of a local star after a battle to try and fry off an unprotected Spores?
Or are they heat resistant?

they survive in space
i'd say they could survive a sun flyby.

I'm not sure what they aren't resistant to. They'll certainly live through any decontamination that can be safely carried out without killing all the humans.

Well i have no idea how that could be prevented then
Just hope and pray they didn't cling to your ship i guess

Feral orks make good target practice. They aren't a problem until there are lots of them.

More like shooting them to shit for terrorizing livestock. Farmers too I guess.

Still a danger none the less though, no?
