Well, I'd typed up a post but apparently forgot to hit Submit.

Basically, fired for an attendance mishap with the system. Not the manager's fault nor mine, because it was mostly me neglecting to make sure it registered that I'd called in. It didn't.

The managers didn't want to let me go, and are very likely to hire me back if I can't get a job in 60 days (when I can reapply at Walmart).

Walmart's not the best job, but I worked in Dairy, which I enjoy, and their benefits are decent with above-minimum wage pay.




I just feel like I let people down by it :/

One of these days I'll get rid of my tablet altogether so that I can't be tempted at all, I refuse to use it but the temptation is annoying.

I'm almost certain that the disappointment at myself for doing nothing at all isn't as bad as the disappointment at how awful it will be if I go out and do it.

Dude failure is like 90% of an artist's work.
If you're gonna sit around and screech about how bad you are rather than trying something, looking at it, and then trying to improve on it, then you'll get nowhere fast.
