Let's not talk about subjects like this that could lead to an all-out flame-war of believers and non-believers of whatever.

are we on tumblr? where science and statistics are bad and should be ignored?
I'm not really throwing them out. I'm just saying you shouldn't be so apt to throw out spirituality.
Tumblr outright denies science and believes in a world of mystical fairies and unicorns. I'm just saying some things can't be fully explained by science. Like the big bang. A singularity would require energy far greater than it had in it before to explode, because gravity goes into near-infinite values when you toss a bunch of mass together.
Also, statistics are weird and we definitely need a new system to convey how often something actually happens.

Statistics are fine, you just need to remember they are simply just a way of modelling events in the real world.

no no no.
there are two kinds of things in a context like this. Stuff we can explain fully, and stuff we can't explain YET.
In so many ways we are still kids playing with things we don't understand when it comes to science, it's unrealistic to expect us to be able to explain every little thing that happens in the world, and it's silly to think that just because we're still working on the answer then the answer is clearly something beyond conventional science.

Okay then, stop trying to explain with what we have and wait until we have the proper resources to know what's really going on.
People thought Newton's laws were the pinnacle of physics. Look at what we have now.

I'm not trying to explain everything, I'm telling you that you can't fill the gaps with "Spirituality" because that's a crock of crap.

Spirituality isn't the explanation. It's what we're trying to explain.

yup, even I don't know where this winding abomination of an argument you've tried to present is coming from or going.
HERE'S A THOUGHT!
Everyone shut up and enjoy the music.
<joke> EHKS. WHY IS THE DEFAULT MEDIA ADDITION DAILYMOTION? I DEMAND YOU SOMEHOW FIX THIS WITH YOUR LIMITED KNOWLEDGE AT ONCE! </joke>
edit: Huh. apparently "Joke" tags are a valid thing that will disappear when combined.
Does this work with everything?

I probably shouldn't have been reading MurderMachines in the background with a headache, because talking about phenomena led to me spouting out the many ways science can't do this or science can't do that.
SilverOtter cancels go insane: Has gone stark raving mad.
SilverOtter cancels go stark raving mad: Has become possessed.
SilverOtter cancels becomes possessed: Killed by a real authority on spirituality.

And now for something completely different.

[I stop trying to tear the head off a dwarf underwater, then waddle over to the bag, poke my head in, and bring out a salmon in my muzzle.]
