I hate errands but I do love driving. Just cruising around singing along to the radio, watching the world go by, it's great.

God damnit reddit.
I've made a lot of well thought out and informative comments, but the kind of comment that gets to be people's highest rated ever makes how high it gets much funnier than the comment itself

How do you even get 18k replies.
it's an askreddit thread, that's how many people replied to the thread as a whole, not to just my comment.
i got off my lazy butt and made my first teleporter in terraria. it goes to the jungle. (we need some kind of cheering emote i know it won't happen but it would be cool if it was final fantasy themed)
You know. One day I'll find a game I'm good at and hopefully it'll do a tournament of some sort and I'll finally be able to validate my existence. Until such a day I'll just keep on practicing dying at what I do have.
Thred is ded.
i've been playing some Agrarian Skies 2 (modded minecraft skyblock quest thing) and set up my farm with my crop sticks.
now crops here can spread and mutate into other crops (cross breeding) or become strong/better/faster crops of their own type, and with a watering can you can speed this process up (takes a while for shit to grow), now if you leave crop sticks empty for a bit, weeds grow and they'll spread and remove your useful crops of you don't take care of them.
but when i read the watering can's tooltip, it said something with giving your plants attention and nourishment they grow faster, suddenly i had this realization: the weeds just want attention and nourishment, but whenever they dare show they face i tear them out of the ground...

Nothing grinds my gears like clicking on an otherwise uninteresting article purely because of really cool concept art in the thumbnail, only to find that particular image is nowhere in the article.

i have no idea, but maybe if we bother talk to ehks, he can setup a volunteer form and the person who can provide the most reliable server get's to provide it.
so, i'll probs go to bed soon, but before i do there's a question i want to ask EVERYONE HERE!
I've played some Dungeon World DnD with some friends, and I've got some understanding of the rules and how it works. essentially, it's way simpler and far more fast-paced and story focused Dungeons and Dragons. which i would think fits nicely into an RP... somewhat.
now, I've already got some ideas for essentially a multi-person DnD world where people could go around and either just explore areas themselves, team up with others and delve into dungeons, visit towns and such.
how exactly it would work i've not 100% settled on yet, but depending on if people want this or not we could talk about how that would work.
now it would be a semi-medival setting... without Avali... yeah, sorry, if people REALLY REALLY BADLY want them, i might find some way to shoe horn them into what i currently have in mind... but most of the lore wouldn't hold up, the avali are made for a space-sci-fi setting, not a medieval dungeoneering setting.
though because it is a DnD thing, it would use the Dungeon World character sheets (i'd be pretty open to bend some rules about what class can be what race/alignment) and people would be rolling dice to decide a LOT of stuff, everything from traveling to (in some cases) talking, even with other Player Characters, fighting and so on.
now it would require a lot of trust between the players... as cheating on the dice rolls can be done easily, and depending on how the DMing happens it could also be some power-abuse. but this might also be a good test for the newly appointed mods if things go south in that department, otherwise it might be good training with that sort of stuff.
another thing this would require by the players is two things. 1, that they read up on how Dungeon World works, this isn't too hard. there are 8 or so classes, very classic classes and the rules are simplified. 2, people NEED TO BE DETAILED IN HOW THEY ROLL PLAY. if you read up on how DW works, you'll realize that saying "i attack the wolf! *rolls success* *rolls damage* "i stab the wolf!" wont do. it would be something more along the lines of "I lunge at the wolf, sword first! *rolls success* *rolls damage* "i stab my sword through he wolf's right front leg, knocking it to the ground!"
being vague in how you describe these things will make things and best end up in a lengthy debate or immersion-breaking question that could have been avoided.
so will people be interested in this? we'll see if it works, give it a sort of test-run if people are interested.
and one last thing, it wont be as stagnant as the SRS-RP because i'll have a world area built from the start which locations that people can go to and stuff, i'd be a lot of work from me, and i'd like some help from a few people if this becomes a thing, mostly with drawing a world map, writing rules, and drawing dungeons.
and i'll probably repost this tomorrow morning... i mean in a few hours.

ill need to read up on dungeon world but it does sound intresting. i've played DnD 3.5e and loved it. My favorite class was the wilder, race was the Elan. Both additions to the original. So im curious how different this is. I played online using a website called Roll20.net for the rolls since it displays the rolls to others, it also can do things like 4d100+5 and give you the results quickly and everyone can see it unless its gm roll which then only gms can see.
