if you google seraphimlabs we're like the only forum that shows up
Wait. Why would you say it's slow as fuck then post evidence that is directly contrary?

Which is why I'm saying that the Forums is equally part of this problem as Skype is. WE NEED A SOLUTION THAT SOLVES ALL THE PROBLEMS OF COMMUNICATION WE ARE HAVING. WHY IS THIS SO HARD TO GET ACROSS? OH, MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE CHERRY-PICKING MY WORDS TO IGNORE THE PARTS WHERE I'M RIGHT.

All caps, cherry picking, you can have both but not one or the other

Maybe it's because Skype is eating your bandwidth.

Like, completely shut down or what? Skype likes to run in the background even after you "close" it.

The issue is clearly on your end, it could be that you are a continent or two away from the server, your internet sucks to start with, or your ISP is pulling some shenanigans.

Yes, this website is legitimately one of the fastest-loading websites on my end, and nearly the first to come up when loading my various forums.
Some ISPs might not like it, distance may be a big issue, I don't know.
Just to toss out there from a personal perspective, but I would reason the incredibly caustic vitriol that gets posted here by certain folks who are incredibly [redacted] about people doing something else which they like but said group doesn't, is far more detrimental and dividing the community more than any communication-type preference.

Past few pages reminded me why I have no desire to be active here.

Take it for what you will.
And again, we are coming to the conclusion that this Forum is no winner either (which makes sense, because if it was there would be no need for Skype). The Skype frag exists because this forum is not perfect for everyone, in the way it functions, the way we post (why the hell can't we make multiple topics again?), and the way it runs.

I don't understand why no-one is getting the idea that we need to get together and find the right solution to our communication problems. Do we seriously have blind, raving maniacs on both sides?
Apparently some people just legitimately hate the nexus as a community and only come around to look for the occasional shitshow to take as a representation of an average day.
Well this is just a fine pickle isn't it o^o
It gets too steamy in here for me a lot of the time frankly so i stick to skype
Its nice and cool there! We even have juice! the fruitiest of fruit juice.

We have you, Surge... and Kc ????? Dunno.
-  on the "everything is shit" side.

Then pretty much everyone on the other side at this point, I'd think.

And forum is a forum, there is no issue. Skype is for other contact and communication, which may or may not even be slightly relevant with anything Nexus forum, at all.

It's the only I ever hear of here anymore. Literally the only I ever hear of here anymore.

You are not the community, Surge. owo

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.

If it's only supposed to be slightly relevant, then why does it almost entirely replace the forums as your Nexus communication of choice?

And for those who are wondering, fuck yeah am I adamant about this. I've poured way to many hours into this community only for that to be worthless because some of us can't sit together and work our problems out.
