Okay, seriously? The issue that I'm raising, the root of our problems, is that neither is system is perfect. It would have been simple to talk about why the forums don't work for you, so we could fix those problems, because communication is important, you know? This issue is not big, but it supports bigger issues, like the one everyone has been building up over the last month. IT IS, AGAIN, THE ROOT ISSUE. It is the reason why we are broken into two avenues of communication, and why we have drama over such. IT IS AN ISSUE THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF WE HAD TALKED INSTEAD OF JUST GOING WITH THE CLOSEST "SOLUTION". I can understand why you all decided it wasn't that big of a deal, after all it's pretty small. BUT IGNORING IT DID NOT SOLVE ANYTHING. And now we have bigger problems.
Cancel that, because I might as well say that SITTING DOWN AND WORKING OUT PROBLEMS WE ARE HAVING AS A COMMUNITY IS THE ROOT ISSUE. By working as a team, we could solve the major drama, or shitposting, or forum issues. OUR PROBLEM, IRONICALLY, IS FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE. IF WE ARE NOT WILLING TO TALK, LISTEN, AND ACT (HELL, MYSELF INCLUDED, BUT THAT'S TODAY'S REVELATION) THEN WE WILL MAKE BIGGER PROBLEMS BUILT ON SMALLER ONES. And we have.
We are not acting as community. Breaking off with a "solution to the problem" instead of talking together as a whole, and possibly finding a solution that works for everyone, is not how a community works. AND SO THERE IT IS. WE ARE NOT A COMMUNITY IF WE ACT LIKE THIS.
I would lovee to point out that i stand by what intrebute says... there is no regulation here... it was much nicer back on the chucklefish forums because of the admins that were there beating those that needed it with a ruler when they were out of line... now... from what i have seen here... there is none of that... this forum does have its good parts... Rune brings me in when there are nice things to see and i thank him for that... but as much as i see good things in this group its vastly overwrote by the bad of the group... no punishments for shitty actions... its just depressing... and makes it hard to say yea i am an avali lover when the comunity loves throwing knives at each other whenever possible!

a rule of "no drama" might be a little harsh, but something to help avoid things blowing up would be nice. not sure how to word that, hope you guys understand.

yeah... you'll need to use the temp-ban hammer a lot more often i feel. and that seems to be a generally shared feeling. maybe also find a few other mods willing to do the same.
i'd be willing to stand up and become a mod, if it wasn't for biased views about certain people. i'd probably be a little too trigger-happy towards Rukii and Austin to be frank. not that their bad people, it's just the honest truth.
while other's i'd have a hard time banning, even if they're being mean or stupid.
but i can give it a try, though preferably in a sort of trial fashion.

well... we're going to need more moderators. one is not enough. i dunno if this is something that should be brought to some kind of vote, or if you or someone else just appoints people.
we shouldn't sit with our hands in our lap. that's the main thing. that is what has led to most of this. we should act and take action.
