Die Antwoord is a bad actor, and so much of the movie was spent following him I feel like it was almost more about him than, y'know, the actual robot.

I dunno, it's not terrible and it's still worth watching but I didn't really walk away thinking it was praise-worthy.

The point of chappie is that he's not a deep or complex character. Like they said he's effectively a child, he may be able to tell you how something works in moments but he doesn't know why people are doing things, and as he is trying to figure out what to do with his newly minted existence these gangsters are leading him astray. I really enjoyed watching what was practically an abusive relationship between him and ninja play out, with chappie being too innocent and naive to understand why he needs to get out of it.

Also I have no idea who die antwood is, presumably either ninja or yolandi, but imo they played their parts well enough, one is the kind of nutcase who gets into (semi-)organized crime and the other is there to complete the "street brother and sister" dynamic as the relatively level headed one.

And while there are no factions, the campaign has a tech tree of sorts and the actual game is really quite fun.
Take a gamble and get it. It's really pretty good, and you can always get a refund.

I literally just said the game is unplayable.
Though the game might have gotten some optimization updates, because I absolutely do not trust you being able to play this game on a Mac.

I sit out family photos whenever possible. It's no fur off my muzzle to be left out of 2 communities still trying to pretend they're one and the same.
