Speaking of video games. I get people recommending mount and blade to me constantly and I've never been interested, but I recently found a title called starsector, billed by a youtuber as "mount and blade in space." It actually looks stellar, with all the freedom and the simplistic but comprehensive UI of the old flashtrek broken mirror game it also adds layers of welcome depth and complexity to it's obvious spiritual predecessor that hammers out most of the major issues flashtrek had, and uses an original universe insread of the star trek setting.

The game at it's most basic has you as the captain of an independent ship, you can buy new and better weapons for your ship, a new ship entirely, or you can buy yourself a mercenary fleet with which to explore the sector and battle pirates.

Nah I know why he put it there, because both are things that even a liberal and laid back workplace will not be okay with you looking at, so they are quite literally not safe for work. but on the other hand what kind of person browses FA at work?
