yeah
real life is boring. I have always loved science fiction and things that are just...well,
different from the norm.

Well then.......that explains a few things........
I actually have a ton of evidence as to why furries are so, well.
Populous or something.
Seriously, in our childhoods pretty much everyone is bombarded with SFW anthro animals. Some people just never completely "outgrew" them.
I'm just kind of obsessed with all different forms of escapism, reality bores and depresses me and so I tend to take the most interest in fantasy and sci-fi, for that I blame my awful childhood and the ridiculous number of video games I've played.
This. Just... This.
A thousand times this.
100% agree.
Agreement Combo x2
I would say x3 but you can't escape from reality.
Have to learn to deal with it while you have to swim in it.

I tend to be most drawn to things that twist the norm a bit without outright replacing it, which is why I prefer sci-fi to fantasy, as sci-fi has waaay more in common with "The norm" than fantasy does.

This is one reason I'm not too big on Hard Science Fiction; it tries too hard to apply reality to something that is supposed to be wonderous and
different.
(Although at the same time, I admire how people manage to make believable sci-fi universes using hard-sci-fi... I mean the research... that's dedication)
Welp, I gtg for a while.

I like both.
My favorite fantasy setting have to be ones that use magitech, though. Especially really advanced magitech.
it's just cool.

at that point it's sci-fi.
it's both really but you can call it either and still be right.
Aaah, you guys know Akinator, right? I've been delving into the most obscure parts of the internet to try to stump this infernal Genie...
Seriously, this guy got Serge right in a timely manner, Haru Glory was also guessed right with only mild difficulty...heck, he even got Rhea Snaketail right with considerable ease!
Ranshiin and Guile from Street Fighter seemed to trip him up somehow, though. And he was DANG close with Guile, too!
Freaking heck, he even got the Weeping Angels in under 20 questions!

He's even got an "original character" option, which I found out from actually using an original character. He's too good!
