First time playing DEFCON, Russia vs. the USA, and I order all of my fleets to attack America from the Atlantic ocean, rather than the Pacific ocean.
I point all of my nuke silos and anti-nuke defenses towards the Atlantic side too.

See this is why I'm not in the military.

You have to sneak into a major port via container ships concealing mechanized regiments.

No matter what game you're playing, Russia always has the most badass methods of invading shit.

Hiding Hinds inside of cargo ships, paratrooping literally armies' worth of men onto major cities...

that's just as stupid, because then you go through canada, and thus declare war on two countries, and give both plenty of time to mount an offense.

Not to mention you expose yourself to the entire US Pacific Fleet.

Unless if you set them as players in the game as well, other countries will remain surprisingly silent about you mercilessly slaughtering entire cities.
Realistically the Soviets didn't have the naval power for a successful invasion without nuclear strikes, but they could pull a Hitler and invade Europe, get through West Germany and you're golden, then you can consolidate on the mainland once NATO has been driven from it, and build up a navy with those sweet warm water ports. This all assumed no nuclear strikes from either side at any point.

The mistake Hitler made was constant ground war, you need to consolidate on occupied lands sometimes or you'll overextend and everything will collapse.
2015 hottest year ever recorded. 2500 killed in india alone from the heat. Welp thats some bad news alright. Luckily my building has AC.

You could also do what I did and order 70+ ICBM, MRBM and SRBM strikes onto major cities.

That would work.

2011 was still the hottest summer so far, at least that's how I feel.

But hey, summer's just beginning, let's see what happens.

Also ACs are fucking lifesavers.

Summer 2013 was literally heaven.

Like, can we please go back to 2013 and live forever there?

It was cold enough to freeze an Eskimo even into the spring though.
