Magic City Galbadia is a city on the verge of three different realities: the current RP world,
the new RP world, and our own reality. This results in an odd mix of medieval style
architecture, steampunk culture, and some high technology. There are many portals
opened by magic and sustained by engineers, allowing travellers from all planes
of reality to pass through if they so please. The normal inhabitants of Galbadia are
very Victorian cultural wise, and since there are many others who pass through,
there is little to no judgement. The city is ruled by a royal family, consisting of
King Abner, Prince Roy, and Queen Josephine. The king is a kind man who seeks
only the best for his people, but this can sometimes result in him attacking other
realities to steal technology and gather information. The queen is somewhat rude,
and cold to those she does not know, but is kind to the commoners, making regular
donations, and warms to others quickly. She is a hard-working, strong-willed woman
who can sometimes act brashly, but always does so with the best intentions. Prince Roy
is considered a disgrace to the family name of Hadner by his father, but his mother
considers him a fine young man. He regularly sneaks through portals to other realities,
often without permission, but always needs to return. The royal family has the loyalty of
their people due to the kindness and respect they give to all classes equally, and many
citizens would gladly lay down their tools in favor of weapons if so required. So far,
the city of Galbadia is the only way to cross between planes of existence without some
sort of incredibly powerful and skilled mage.
Rough draft for a hub world in the RP. I'd love some critique or suggestions, if you have any. Sorry that it kinda sucks, not very good at writing.

But uhhh, I'm not to sure on the magic... Magic... meh others will probably enjoy it, I'm just not too keen on the ideas behind magic( BURN THE WITCH ) but overall it's pretty good...

Thanks. Only reasons I included magic was because 1. portals 2. its on the edge of reality, and 3. people like magic. That, and I just really like the idea of a steampunk-esque mage. I dont know why, but I do. DONT JUDGE ME!!! *cries in corner*
New page for Slightly Damned tomorrow. I'm legit excited for the first time in years. I cant believe this,

-Procrastination is the enemy, i start something but procrastinate until the steam runs out, then nothing happens.
-Anger and malcontent fuel the flames of change, but they don't last on their own. I need to make them last, keep fueling the fire with things that I want to change one by one.
-Structure is key, without it procrastination gains too much ground. I need to be rigid, have a plan and follow it to the letter. Therefore every week I will devote at least 3 hours EVERY day to changing something in my life for the better, be it bettering my appearance with better hygiene or how I conduct myself, improving my physical health with exercise, or improving my mental health with meditation or by learning something new, be it how to draw or a new coding language.
-Friends exist and can help me, but i first must prove I'm worthy of their help by making a few small changes on my own first, as words only travel to the end of the page, but actions can draw their own boundaries.
-my pursuit of little shreds of pleasure are just that, shreds. To truly be happy I have to work hard, be tireless in my resolve.
-everyone has a talent, skills, and a purpose, those who succeed in life know their purpose and make good use of it. For some though it takes a lifetime to find their purpose. I'm not waiting.
-good things do not come to people, people come to the good things.
I am going to take a nap to replenish my energy, as I've already said more than enough. I will keep this all as a reminder, read it every day so I can never forget what I must do, because when I wake up, I WILL make something happen, there will be no further rest until I do. I will print this into a poster and place it on the ceiling if I must, to ensure its the first and last thing I think about every day.
seems like a good plan marxon i hope you can piece your life together.

DPS or tank?
Not really far enough into it to specialize in any area, but right now I'm going for DPS.

Really? The first dungeon is like, level 10.
I'm level 22 and I play healer.
I got to level six and I got bored because I was trying to do quests and people were blowing shit up near me. Either way, I'm off to go and break StarBound some more,

I did my early grinding wayyyy back when wildstar was still new and exciting, now going from 15-20 to unlock the first REAL dungeon? That was hard...
