My new case is due Monday and come Summer I will either be in boot so no computer usage or I will have a job in the private sector and filled the case to bursting with 120mm fans.
Those seem like two very different directions to take your life in. Do you have an idea of what you want or is it more of a as the circumstances dictate kind of thing?

probably how circumstances dictate. if he gets a job in private, he'll do that. if he doesn't, boot camp it is.

It's actually very similar. I'd like to get into aircraft maintenance, jet engines and such, I love mechanical systems and it will pay better than automotive, but the private sector of that is hard to get into and tech school will be 5k. So with that in mind the Air Force is my first choice, 10 years of character building and job experience plus retirement benefits, after which I can go into the private sector hopefully. If that doesn't work out for any reason I actually have a very generous job offer waiting for me in January that will include job training as well.

...I actually think that's what my dad does. Not sure. He works at what he calls a "Shop" on base (not like the commissary or anything, he just calls it that even though he works on mechanical stuff) and often talks about working on flight lines and stuff...then again, he could also just be doing general mechanical stuff.
He
does work civilian for the Air Force though.

As I understand Warner-Robins is sort of a "reserve" base so civilian contractors wouldn't surprise me.
Doubt I'll get a chance to see for myself I would be quite surprised if I have any interaction with the USAF over there outside of talking to a recruiter sometime in the next week.
Edit: also that is so bizarre to me not understanding why the garage/hangar is called a "shop." It's a workshop you see.
Last image of the battlestation before the new parts come in. It's looking pretty lived in now.
Making progress on the WingDing front, but I cant find a way to copy paste them into the forums.

Nice battlestation, what are your specs?

I come on and everyone's arguing about a ridiculous nickname for Ehks which he seems to really hate.
Just the average Saturday in the Nexus, I guess?
So... That thing aside, how is everyone?
Forum seems to have been pretty dead today.
I'm doing well, how about yourself? I haven't talked to you in forever.
Well enough... Kind of bored lately but that's been solved by the Starbound update, Fallout 4, and Welcome to Night Vale.

I suppose you've missed the multiple times I've mentioned that WingDings doesn't work here?
In general, the only fonts that DO work 100% of the time are the ones in the drop down list.
Yes, only those. Some other fonts MIGHT work depending on who has them installed, but it's unlikely and WingDings is one that just WON'T.
So my font is some fucked up mix of WingDings and normal letters, and I cant use normal text on steam for the most part. Whoop de fucking doo.

FX8350, 8GB RAM, 2x HDDs for a combined 5TB storage, and a GTX 560 Ti all mounted on a Gigabyte....GA-970A-UD3P I believe.
For the few people who might actually care to read my extended thoughts, I've updated my rant twice today:

Wait, were you trying to make your system font WingDings?!
So I blew the fuse in my bedroom yay. Brb finding the fuse box.

So it would work when I held down ALT, yes. Just ask Umbra what my texts on Steam are like
Good news the fuse won't reset so I just have no electricity in my room.
Gonna set my phone to charge in the next room over and go to bed...

That sucks almost as bad as having to have a half-WingDingian font.

Font still stuck. I'm probably gonna try to use the on screen keyboard for Steam, that seems to work. I dunno why I have a normal font on the forums, though.
Fixed the problem on Steam, thanks to the power of on screen keyboards.
