Fallout NV - Great game, not made by Bethesda; made by Obsidian and better than anything Beth did with 3 in only a year of development time.
Skyrim - Pretty buggy at launch, improvment over Fallout 3 though.
Fallout 4 - Seriously WTF Bethesda what are you doing stahp.
Essentially: Fire Bethesda and hire Obsidian.
Obsidian is already spoken for with their recent F2P title.
Hmm? What's this now? I haven't heard about this.

Okay, don't listen to it, then.

Armored Warfare. It's an odd arrangement for sure, not sure if mail.ru approached them for it or they initiated the whole game but they've been adding their own twist to what is otherwise a WoT clone with base building and bonuses as a side feature, persistent commanders with unique skill trees, and retrofits to fine tune your vehicle to your liking.
They have also put a LOT of writing into it.

If there's something Obsidian is
really good at, it's writing.
They're also apparently involved in another game called Skyforge.

It's silly they made all these terrorist groups for PvE and then after the fact went in depth with the writing creating leaders and political causes for the madness and amidst all that they failed to keep in mind the missions that already feature these groups.
Take the NPAA for example, their lore explains that they are an American organization that does DIY border patrol and takes American interests into their own hands. Basically all those overzealous rednecks on Facebook got organized.
Then in Operation Umbrella "alright Black Company we've lured the NPAA's air force out-" WHOA. WHOA WHOA. THESE IDIOTS HAVE AN AIRBASE AND ACTUAL PLANES? It gets better though, they have a generous supply of tanks from all over the world somehow and their very nice airbase is stocked with old SOVIET jets and helicopters.
WHAT THE JESUS STRYPE MADE A BADGE FOR MISSMAB WHAT WHY DO THESE PEOPLE ALL KNOW EACH OTHER?
>"technically both were paid for by chazore"

SERIOUSLY?! BETHESDA, ALL OF YOUR OTHER GAMES DID THIS RIGHT. HOW CAN YOU SCREW IT UP NOW?!
Also the looting menu looks ugly, the real-time was a bad decision in my opinion, and the constant character commentary makes me sick to my stomach. Actually kind of glad I haven't bought this game yet - at least not until modders make it into something playable.
Kind of sad how a company used to making this type of game can somehow screw up everything they did right before. But that's Bethesda for you. "It just works"... except it doesn't.
also there's no
wait button and the reload key is same as the storage/npc inventory/transfer key so if you decide to take cover and reload in an area full of containers, things can get pretty frustrating

You can wait, you just need to be sitting down.

Well then, in that case "sit anywhere" mods will actually have a use!

They also exist for Fallout: NV, Skyrim, and probably Fallout 3.
Also, I've now seen a bit of Fallout 4 gameplay (just exited the vault, so no real spoilers) and....
Oh... My... God...
The controls are vomit-inducing, the UI is 200% worse than Skyrim's, and about 1000% worse than the previous 2 Fallout games', the voiced protagonist got old after about 3 minutes, and the lack of traits and skills is painfully obvious and quite unpleasant. (Of course, I always preferred Fallout 3 and 4's leveling over Skyrim's)...
The only possible saving throw for me is if the barter menu is like it was in Fallout 3 and NV, with the choose what you want to buy and sell then accept, all from one menu, instead of sell-on-click and buy-on-click, switching between menus, of Skyrim...
Let us hope Obsidian gets a chance at this engine like they did with Fallout 3, but with more time and hopefully the attitude to fix all these horrible changes... It's barely recognizable compared to Bethesda's last few Fallout/Elder Scrolls games, and that is
not a good thing.
So most of the A-team is in the psi-tubes and Surge is recovering from minor wounds...this will be interesting...
welp, Stanley parable just on 75% off and cost just 7.75rm......I really shouldnt use that 9rm on that Statrak AUG........

Your first mistake is using the AUG. ever.
